Three vehicle crash leaves one dead in Daytona

There are many ways to take a vacation. With the rising costs of travel though, many people are turning to road trips over plane rides. Unfortunately, road trips can lead to car accidents.Car accidents can cause serious damage to both the people in the car and the car itself. Accidents can lead to minor bumps and bruises or to long term injuries and even death. It can also lead to serious property damage to the car involved. A three car accident left one man dead in Daytona Beach. The accident occurred on a recent afternoon on Interstate 95.The three cars involved were a box truck, a pick-up truck and a Lincoln. A passenger in the box truck was taken to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead.The pickup involved in the accident was trying to enter Interstate 95 from an entrance ramp. The vehicle allegedly hydroplaned and hit the side of the box truck. This accident caused the truck to cross all of the lanes and hit a light pole.The Lincoln was only struck by the debris from the crash. Neither the driver of the box truck nor the driver of the Lincoln were injured in the crash.The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene. Charges for the accident are still pending.If the accident is due to the negligence of another person, the injured party may be entitled to compensation for his or her injuries or property damage.
